Your skin is your body’s biggest organ and whilst it usually functions well, it is often attacked by disease. Some common skin problems are acne, rosacea, psoriasis, dermatitis and melasma.

Acne is one of the most common problems. Caused by an increase in the production of hormones, acne affects most teenagers and many adults. Main symptoms of acne include reddened, inflamed bumps, blackheads and whiteheads.

Skin tags are small, worthless pieces of skin that hang onto other areas such as eyelids, armpits, neck or groin. These skin tags are more frustrating than dangerous and usually are benign. Some skin tags are darker than the other skin which makes them stand out more. One thing is specific, many people who have this trouble need to know as much as feasible about eliminating skin tags.

So what’s the trick for removing skin tags? If it would be easy just to cut off with nail clippers, this little piece of skin is small and looks as. But that’s a bad concept. Cutting a skin or clipping tag is not a job for novices. The first trouble is bleeding, which might be more difficult to control than expected. The next problem is the capacity for infection from using non-sterile tools. And the final issue is that the scarring left where the skin tag was may be even more unattractive than the skin tag was.

Sunburn results from too much sun or sun-equivalent exposure. The consequence of this burn is inflammation of the skin. Certain light-skinned and fair-haired people are at greater risk of sunburn injury. Wear wide-brimmed hats, long sleeved pants and shirts. Wear sunglasses with total UV protection.

Cellulitis is a type of skin infection. Staph (Staphylococcus aurous) is the most common bacteria that causes cellulitis. It may be accompanied by fever, chills, sweating, and swollen lymph glands. The signs of cellulites are those of any inflammation; redness, warmth, swelling, and pain.

Redness and flushing on the face or neck is called Rosacea which is a skin disease. Antibiotic creams or pills may be used to treat redness and pimples. Surgery or other treatments may help your skin look better if you have advanced Rosacea.

Fungal infections of the skin are more common in warm, humid climates. Another type of fungus is spread by cats and dogs. It is less common but causes more severe infections.
